Commission

An Imperator Is Not Purchased. It Is Commissioned.

Define your configuration and reserve your place in the current build queue.

Consultation · Selection · Build · Delivery

We guide each step: from wood selection through final delivery.

How a Commission Unfolds

From your first message to your first arrow.

01

Consultation

Before you commit to an order, we consult directly regarding draw length, target weight, and your intended use. We answer any questions regarding geometry and material selection.

02

Wood Selection

From our current inventory of exotic hardwoods, you select the riser material and veneers. Each blank is unique. Once allocated to your build, it belongs to no other bow.

03

The Build

Each bow is built to order. Standard lead time: 8–12 weeks. We send updates at key milestones.

04

Tuning

Every bow is tuned before the finish is applied. The bow does not proceed until it shoots exactly as it should.

05

Finishing

Once tuned perfectly, the final layers of finish are applied to protect the wood and preserve the clarity of the rare grains.

06

Delivery

The remaining balance is collected before shipment. Your bow arrives in a matte black presentation case. Warranty service is available for defects in materials and workmanship — we consider the build complete when you do.

Ironclad Guarantee

"We stand behind every bow."

"If your Imperator ever fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship, we will repair or replace it. No questions asked. No paperwork. No expiration date."

"This guarantee transfers with the bow. If you pass it to your children, the guarantee passes with it. This is not a warranty. It is a commitment made at the time of build."

Materials Overview

Every design detail is deliberate.

Every Imperator bow begins with the careful selection of materials — chosen not only for strength and performance, but for character. From figured hardwoods and laminates to the details that shape balance, finish, and feel, each element contributes to the final expression of the bow.

Before You Commit

Clear answers for the decisive archer.

Imperator commissions are structured across three levels, each reflecting material rarity and craftsmanship depth: The Field Commission — $975–$1,300 USD The Heritage Commission — $1,550–$2,100 USD The Heirloom Commission — $2,600–$3,200+ USD Final pricing within each tier is confirmed during consultation based on your specific wood selection, draw weight, bow length, and configuration. A 40% Commission Retainer secures your build slot and is applied to the total cost. Flexible payment options, including installment plans, are available at checkout.
Because each bow is built to order, our standard lead time is 8–12 weeks. During lighter production periods, current availability may be shorter. When this occurs, the shorter estimate reflects our present queue, not a change in our standards.
We maintain a private reserve of premium exotics—Cocobolo, Gabon Ebony, Desert Ironwood, Bocote, and heavily figured Burls. Availability shifts constantly. During your consultation, we curate specific timbers that precisely match your structural and aesthetic preferences.
Both. While an Imperator is undeniably refined, its core geometry is engineered for the unforgiving conditions of the field. The mass of the exotic riser absorbs vibration for absolute silence, making it equally devastating in a ground blind or stabilizing on a 3D course.
Yes. We build from 30 to 70 pounds at your exact specified draw length. We also scale the overall AMO length to properly align with your physical height and shooting style, guaranteeing a smooth draw devoid of stacking.
You secure your build slot by placing a 40% Commission Retainer — applied in full toward the total cost of the bow. We then contact you directly to discuss specs, wood selection, and configuration. Once the design is locked, we begin the build. The remaining balance is invoiced when the bow is complete.
Because every riser is shaped by hand and every limb is tillered individually, we cap our active roster strictly at 12 commissions per month. When slots are full, the roster closes until the following sequence.
Mass production relies on continuous automation and standardized composites to move volume. An Imperator is crafted one at a time. The riser is shaped by hand, the limbs are hand-tillered to your draw, and the finish involves instrument-grade catalyzed lacquer. It is an heirloom, not a commodity.
Heritage and Heirloom builds offer three grip finishes: ▸ NATURAL — The riser grip is left as shaped wood, showcasing the full character of the selected hardwood or exotic species. No wrap, no texture — pure timber. ▸ STIPPLED — A permanent mechanical texture carved directly into the wood grain. Provides a non-slip surface that becomes part of the riser itself. Cannot wear off or degrade. ▸ HERITAGE LEATHER (Heritage Tier) — Italian kangaroo leather, sourced from Italy. The highest tensile strength of any natural leather. Conforms to the hand over time while holding position under sustained draw pressure. Develops a fit unique to its owner. ▸ HEIRLOOM STINGRAY (Heirloom Tier) — The same material used on Japanese katana hilts and European sword handles for centuries. The natural bead structure will not move in a wet hand, a cold hand, or after ten thousand draws. It does not compress. It does not slip. Reserved for the tier where every detail is chosen to outlast the archer. Grip preference is confirmed during consultation.

Your build slot is waiting.
